Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. (30 mL) vegetable oil
- 5 strips bacon, minced
- 1/3 lb. (140 g) beef, top sirloin, cut into small cubes
- 1/3 lb. (140 g) boneless skinless chicken breast cut into strips
- 2 cups (500 mL) sliced vegetables (peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, onion, carrots, celery, mushrooms, snow peas, etc., fresh or frozen, thawed & drained)
- 1 cup (250 mL) VH® Sweet & Sour Cooking Sauce
- 3 tbsp. (45 mL) VH® Soya Sauce
Directions

Step one
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok set over high heat. Add bacon and brown. Add chicken and beef, stir-fry for 5 minutes.

Step two
Add vegetables; cook until vegetables are tender, about 4 minutes.

Step three
Pour VH® Sweet & Sour Cooking Sauce and VH® Soya Sauce into skillet; let cook for 4 minutes.

Step four
Serve with rice.
Tips
This particular recipe calls for 3 types of meat; however, you can choose to prepare it using only chicken or beef. Another variation would be to substitute the bacon with a few uncooked shrimp.
