Prepare lemon cake according to package directions.
Divide batter between two parchment paper-lined 8-inch round pans.
Bake according to package directions. Cool completely on wire racks.
Place one cake on cake stand. Top with vanilla icing. Place second cake on top.
Spread more vanilla icing overtop, leaving the sides of the cake bare. Pipe rosettes around the edge of the top of cake. Place a mini Cadbury egg atop each rosette.
