Ingredients
- 4 Gardein Crispy Chick’n Patties
- 2 small red peppers, halved
- 4 vegan burger buns, toasted
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) prepared sun-dried tomato pesto
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) prepared olive tapenade
- 1 cup (250 mL) packed arugula
Directions

Step one
Preheat grill to medium heat; grease grate well. Grill patties for 5 to 8 minutes per side or until well marked and heated through.

Step two
Meanwhile, grill peppers for 3 to 5 minutes per side or until well marked and tender.

Step three
Assemble burgers in buns with red peppers, pesto, tapenade and arugula.
Tips
• Top each patty with a slice of vegan cheese in the last minute of grilling for Chick’n Cheeseburger.
• If unable to find prepared pesto or tapenade, simply place olives and/or sun-dried tomatoes in food processor; add olive oil and blend until combined and smooth.
