Ingredients
- 1 Package of Tagliatelle pasta
- 2 Tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Cup Diced Carrots
- 1 Cup Diced Celery
- 1 Cup Diced Onion
- 6 Cloves of Smashed Garlic
- 4 Cups of Red Wine
- 3lb Ground Beef, Chicken or Turkey
- 2 cans of Hunt’s Heirloom Diced Italian Herb
- 2 398ml cans of Hunt’s Heirloom Diced
Directions

Step one
Bring a medium pot of water to a boil. Once the water is boiling, add in your package of Tagliatelle pasta. Cook to package direction.

Step two
Peel and dice all the vegetables the same size - just a bit larger than 1cm. Smash the garlic with your hand or carefully with the back of the knife.

Step three
In a large, deep skillet, add in 2 tablespoons of E.V.O.O. and the diced vegetables and smashed garlic. Sauté until vegetables are almost cooked through.

Step four
Add in the ground beef, chicken or turkey to the skillet and cook until browned. Deglaze the pan with red wine. Add in the Hunt’s Heirloom Diced Italian Herb and regular Hunt’s Heirloom Diced to the mixture.

Step five
Strain pasta and set aside for plating. Let the beef and tomato sauce simmer for 15 mins to thicken.

Step six
Serve Bolognese sauce over pasta. If desired, top it with grated parmigiano and serve with a side of garlic bread.
