Ingredients
- 1 tsp (5 mL) vegetable oil
- 4 bone-in loin pork chops
- 1 onion, halved and sliced
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) VH® Plum Dipping Sauce
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) maple syrup
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) Dijon or whole grain mustard
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) red wine vinegar
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) pepper
- 3 Spartan apples, thinly sliced
Directions

Step one
Heat oil in large non-stick skillet set over medium-high heat. Add chops; cook until lightly browned, about 1 minute per side. Remove and set aside.

Step two
Add onion; cook, stirring, until softened, about 3 minutes. Stir in VH® Plum Dipping Sauce, maple syrup, mustard, vinegar and pepper.

Step three
Return chops to pan, coating well with sauce. Arrange apple slices over chops. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer, covered, for 5 to 10 minutes.

Serve with cooked quinoa and sliced celery.
