Ingrédients
- 3 lb (1.4 kg) chicken drumsticks
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) each salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) canola oil
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bottle (355 mL) beer
- 1 can (283 g) Ro*Tel® Original Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies
- 1 tsp (5 mL) brown sugar
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) finely chopped fresh parsley

Étape one
Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat oil in Dutch oven set over medium heat; cook chicken for 8 to 10 minutes or until browned all over. Remove chicken from pan; set aside.

Cook bacon for 2 to 3 minutes or until fat starts to render and bacon is browned around edges. Stir in onion and garlic; cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until onion is slightly softened.

Stir in beer, Ro*Tel® Original Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies, brown sugar and bay leaves; bring to boil. Cook until most of the liquid evaporates.

Return chicken to pan. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook for 45 to 60 minutes or until chicken is very tender and sauce is thickened. Remove bay leaves. Sprinkle with parsley.
