- 1 can (398 mL) Hunt’s Heirloom® Whole Tomatoes
- 1 onion, diced
- 1/3 cup (75 mL) packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup (75 mL) cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) minced fresh gingerroot
- 1 tsp (5 mL) salt and pepper
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) each ground allspice and cloves
- 24 slices baguette rounds, toasted
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) crumbled goat cheese
- 1 cup (250 mL) baby arugula

In skillet, combine Hunt’s Heirloom® Whole Tomatoes, onion, brown sugar, vinegar, ginger, salt, pepper, cinnamon, allspice and cloves; bring to boil.

Reduce heat to medium. Simmer, stirring frequently, for 15 to 18 minutes or until thickened to jam-like consistency. Let cool completely. Refrigerate in airtight jar or container for up to 1 week.

Serve jam on baguette toasts with crumble of goat cheese and sprinkle of arugula.
